A simple catalogue of wild flowers and plants...
Echinacea is an herbal immune system rebuilder and assist the body in recovery; You can find echinacea relatively easily in most health food stores in a capsule, hot tea and extract. Echinacea as well as most supplements are best when taken in sessions with breaks in between for body resets
CHLORELLA is my pick as the blood plant. Though many deep greens have a great whole body and oxygenating affect for the blood, to me Chlorella IS the blood plant. This sea algae takes platelets that are high and lowers them, raises them if they are low AND creates healthy balanced blood cells. ie: no sticky cells
Dandelion the friendly flower. This gentle herb is a deep detoxifier. Often pairing well with any of the immune builders to empower quick recoveries.
Mullien Leaf this underrated lung mechanic is excellent at breaking up phlegm and opening up the lungs. Its antibacterial and antiviral properties allow for it to be a great combatant to many common respiratory challenges.
UMCKALOABO is seriously a favorite in my herbal catalogue. Umckalaobo is great for anything respiratory and up. Its antiviral, antibacterial, anti fungal properties feel like a whiskey shot in your chest: all warm and active. I only use it acutely but have paired it or seen it in smaller doses with elderberry and other daily immune builders.
ORTIJA is an herb I’ve recently gotten familiar with in regards to muscular pain. This anti-inflammatory herb is excellent for soothing aches and pains and i often pair it with Dandelion and Sarsaparilla.
SAUCO/ ELDERBERRY an herb that is friendly and plays well with others. Elderberry can be used daily thanks to its great immune boosting properties. It gently builds defenses but is yet potent and powerful. The berry is often a bright red or purple however the flowers can vary from country to country. I’ve seen green, yellow, white and when making the tea often use lemon and honey.
Shankhapushpi i ordered from Banyan Botanicals. I heard of it through Ayuverdic medicine looking for Shatavari, which I also love. I heard of Banyan from a great friend so I trust their quality. Shank works superbly with mood, brain and if you have ovaries, works well with them to. Funny how the flower actually looks like a vulva as well. Ive used it for tissue and cellular health in woman’s care and noticed it does work well with the mental clarity part. Also just feels good in the body.
